MTSU has a large, newly remodeled costume studio that is one of the best equipped in the Southeastern United States.

This portion of the Studio primarily serves a dual purpose-as a classroom for costume construction courses and as a work place for students and staff.
The Laundry and Dye Vat Facility allows students to learn how to care for, clean, and properly dye a variety of fabrics and costumes.
Twenty professional dress forms are available for student use to assist in patterning, draping, or alterations (Men’s Sizes 36-44 and Women’s Sizes 4-22).
This portion of the Studio houses notions, supplies, hand tools, large cutting tables, and ironing stations.
