Jack’s Tale by Scot Copeland and Paul Carroll Binkley is a spirited theatrical journey inspired by the old Irish “Jack legends”. Blending myth and history, the play follows a cunning, larger-than-life hero through rugged mountains, ancient folklore, and sweeping adventure. It celebrates the resilient peoples who braved the wilds of Scotland, wrested farmland from the stony soil of Ireland, and ultimately helped form the backbone of the American Revolution. Both intimate and epic, Jack’s Tale is a tribute to courage, heritage, and the enduring power of story.
Cast List
There are ten characters in the play; the original production used four actors by using this doubling pattern:
Jack
Will, King’s Daughter
Tom, Beggar, Old King
Mama, Blue-Beard Giant, Old Woman, Raggedy Bones
We anticipate casting between 4 and 6 actors, and will create a doubling pattern based on the cast selected. As noted above, it is common in this play for one actor to play characters that represent multiple genders.

Step into a chilling reimagining of Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, where ambition, prophecy, and betrayal unfold beneath moonlit tombstones. Adapted by D. Wilkerson, this haunting production is set in a shadowed cemetery, blending classic verse with eerie Halloween atmosphere. Ghosts linger, witches whisper, and the line between the living and the dead begins to blur as Macbeth’s ruthless rise consumes all in its path. Dark, immersive, and visually striking, this is a Macbeth that will leave audiences thrilled, unsettled, and spellbound.
